📚 Business and education join forces: Another meeting of the EdUP Project Business Advisory Board took place

📆 On December 9, 2025, within the framework of the EdUP project, a regular meeting of the Business Advisory Board was held — a consultative body that formulates proposals and recommendations for the development of partnerships between vocational education and business.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Business Advisory Board for the next period was elected. OLEKSANDR CHERVAK, General Director of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, was appointed to this position.

During the meeting, participants discussed:
🔹 The current state of cooperation between business and vocational education institutions within the EdUP project;
🔹 Results of joint initiatives and priorities for future partnerships;
🔹 New opportunities for involving business in the specialist training processes.

Representatives of companies and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine noted that labor shortage in Ukraine remains one of the key challenges. The lack of qualified workers directly affects the pace of reconstruction, enterprise productivity, and economic competitiveness. That is why effective cooperation between business and vocational education is defined as a strategic direction for industry development.

Project Manager Yuliia Yepifanova presented an analytical report on the impact of EdUP on the development of public-private partnerships in 2023–2025 and also presented the activity plan for the next six months.
After the discussion, members of the Advisory Board expressed proposals regarding work priorities and mechanisms for implementing new initiatives.
