🎓 Business and education unite to train new personnel for Ukraine's construction industry

On June 18, 2026, during the CBU Business Day, Anatoliy Berkuta, member of the CBU Qualification Commission for the implementation of the sectoral assessment (award) system "QUALITY MARK" of the CBU and Vice President of the CBU, emphasized the challenges currently facing the construction industry in terms of personnel training and adaptation to new technologies and standards.

The CBU "QUALITY MARK" initiative is being implemented in cooperation with the sequa project "Professional Synergy" within the framework of the #Skills4Recovery initiative.

💬 "Within the framework of the CBU Qualification Commission, we are responding to the situation currently unfolding in the construction industry. We all understand the era and the period we are living in.

We are facing a serious outflow of personnel from the construction industry, and it needs to be replenished with both labor potential and engineering and technical personnel. At the same time, new technologies, materials, products, kits, and new standards appear every day. Under these conditions, we must keep pace with all the innovations that are taking place.

The main direction that provides the construction industry with highly qualified personnel is education—vocational, professional pre-higher, and higher education. Given the current situation, we clearly understand that education must keep pace with the innovations entering the construction market, including those from our partners outside of Ukraine. At the same time, we want highly qualified personnel on the production floor," Anatoliy Berkuta noted.
