🏗️ CBU Continues Strengthening Cooperation Between Education and Business in Training Construction Personnel

📅 On March 12, 2026, an expanded meeting of the Committee of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) on Cooperation with Educational Institutions and Human Resource Development was held, chaired by Oleksiy Dniprov, Rector of the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.

The meeting focused on developing key components of the "Quality Mark" project for employers involved in vocational training, as well as discussing documents regarding practical training for students, dual education, and student labor contracts.

One of the central topics was the draft agreement on the practical training of students. Participants emphasized the need to create effective cooperation between educational institutions and enterprises, allowing students to gain real-world production experience.

🚧 During the meeting, the development of dual education in the construction industry was also discussed. It was specifically noted that the effectiveness of this model depends on the active participation of enterprises in personnel training.

🎖️ Special attention was given to the presentation of the "Quality Mark" industry award concept, implemented by the CBU in cooperation with the sequa "Professional Synergy" project as part of the хештег#Skills4Recovery initiative.

The award aims to enhance the prestige of employers who invest in the development of professional education and to promote construction professions among young people.

Enterprise evaluation will be based on specific criteria, including compliance with legal and organizational cooperation conditions, mentorship systems, safety levels, production facilities, and graduate employment results. The decision to grant the award will be made by a special CBU commission based on the enterprise's self-assessment and an independent audit.

👷 The results of the work on the "Concrete Worker" professional standard project were also presented during the meeting.

📌 Following the meeting, participants supported the presented developments and agreed on further work to refine the documents.
