🖋️ Legal and communication security for business: how construction companies should act in times of crisis and tighter regulations

🗓️ On June 3, 2026, the webinar "Ready for Everything: Legal and Communication Security for Construction Business" took place, organized by Riyako&Partners together with the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) and Bobrov Communication.

During the event, experts discussed current risks for the construction business, interaction with law enforcement agencies, as well as the role of strategic communications in safeguarding the reputation of the company and its management.

Key topics of the webinar:
🔹 what risks pose a real threat to an executive personally and how to minimize them in advance;
🔹 how the Economic Security Bureau of Ukraine (ESBU) uses analytical tools and mechanisms to detect business "fragmentation";
🔹 how information enters the public space and who might be behind information attacks;
🔹 how to act during inspections, inquiries, or searches by law enforcement agencies;
🔹 the difference between spontaneous negativity and a commissioned smear campaign;
🔹 how to prepare a company's communication position even before a crisis occurs;
🔹 why silence during a crisis is often perceived by the audience as an admission of guilt.

🛡️ Participants also reviewed algorithms for anti-crisis response, in particular the 15/60/90 minute rule, where the first 15-20 minutes is the first official signal that the company sees the problem and is working on it; 60 minutes - the first substantive communication with confirmed facts; 90 minutes - readiness to interact with journalists, partners, and clients.
