🏗️ Modular construction for the rebuilding of Ukraine: CBU held a meeting with Algeco Ukraine and potential partners

🏗️ On July 13, 2026, with the support of the CBU, a meeting was held between the strategic business partner of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine — Algeco Ukraine, which is part of the international Modulaire Group — and representatives of construction companies, developers, manufacturers of building materials, communities, and relevant associations.

👥 Participating in the meeting on behalf of Algeco were Mihaela Artis, Managing Director of Algeco in Eastern Europe; Olesia Mykoliuk, Business Developer of Algeco in Ukraine; and Natasha Grams, Executive Advisor to Algeco. They presented the company's international experience, its approaches to implementing modular projects, and its vision for participating in the rebuilding of Ukraine.

🤝 The meeting was moderated on behalf of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine by the First Vice President of the CBU, Oleksandr Rotov, who emphasized the importance of uniting international expertise, Ukrainian business, and communities around practical solutions for the country's recovery.

🏢 The company's representatives noted that Algeco has been building partnerships with Ukrainian municipalities, state institutions, and international organizations for over two years to participate in the long-term rebuilding of Ukraine. Among the communities the company is already working with or negotiating with are Trostianets, Blyzniuky, Kyiv, Irpin, Lviv, and Vinnytsia.

🏭 A separate part of the discussion was the issue of localizing production in Ukraine. Algeco representatives announced their interest in cooperating with Ukrainian manufacturers of metal structures, sandwich panels, and other components.

💼 Developers, in turn, emphasized the importance of forming effective financial mechanisms for the implementation of such projects, in particular the use of grant programs, international financial instruments, and concessional lending mechanisms, which will significantly accelerate the introduction of modular solutions in Ukraine.

🤝 Following the event, participants continued communicating in the format of networking and B2B negotiations, during which they discussed specific cooperation projects, community needs, and opportunities for applying modern modular technologies for the rebuilding of Ukraine.
