🏠 Modular Solutions and Partnership: Outcomes of the Meeting with Japanese Partners

🗓️ On April 14, 2026, a meeting was held featuring representatives of the Ukrainian construction market, members of the CBU (Confederation of Builders of Ukraine) community, and a delegation from the Japanese company Daiwa House. The discussion focused on potential involvement in Ukraine's reconstruction projects.

🧱 During the event, the Japanese side presented advanced solutions in modular construction — semi-finished structures that match traditional buildings in visual and functional characteristics, with no resemblance to typical panel housing. The production process was demonstrated in detail, showcasing an industrialized linear production method similar to the automotive industry. This includes: preparing the concrete base, assembling the steel frame, integrating engineering systems and interior fittings, followed by module delivery and final assembly on the construction site.

🌍 Examples of completed projects in various countries were also presented, including housing for Ukrainian citizens abroad, confirming the durability and adaptability of these buildings to different climatic conditions.

📊 Key advantages highlighted: Construction time reduced by up to 50%;
CO₂ emissions decreased by up to 50%; High level of production industrialization (up to 70%); Significant waste recycling rate (up to 80%). The presentation also noted stable construction quality, flexible planning solutions, and the ability to build up to 5–6 stories. It was emphasized that such solutions could partially address the shortage of skilled labor in the industry.

🏭 The parties discussed the prospects of the company entering the Ukrainian market, specifically focusing on production localization and the use of EU materials to optimize costs. Meanwhile, prime cost remains one of the key challenges for ensuring competitiveness.

🤝 Representatives of Daiwa House emphasized their openness to cooperation with Ukrainian developers and architectural bureaus, as well as their readiness to balance commercial goals with social responsibility, particularly through participation in humanitarian initiatives.

📍 Following the meeting, the parties established contacts and agreed to maintain further interaction regarding potential joint projects for the recovery of Ukraine.
