On June 21, an economic forum "RECONSTRUCTION OF UKRAINE: The Role of Republic of Moldova" was held in Chisinau.

The following took part in the forum from the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine:

🔸Anzhelika Livitska, Partner, Head of the energy and natural resources practice, as well as environmental protection and sustainable development of Arzinger, co-head of the Arzinger real estate and construction practice, member of the Board of Directors of the CBU;

🔸Oleksandr Starinskyi, member of the Board, Director of development of GERZ Group, member of the Board of Directors of CBU.

⁉️What was discussed:

🔹Strategic cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine;

🔹The role of the Republic of Moldova in the modern economic process and reconstruction of Ukraine;

🔹Promoting the sustainable development of foreign investments;

🔹 Mobilization of investments and resources for economic development;

🔹Key investment sectors in Ukraine and the economic situation in Ukraine.

Moldova and other partner countries are ready to invest in Ukraine right now (without waiting for the end of the war).

Directions for investment and development of bilateral cooperation, which have interested foreign partners:

🔸Railways and highways;

🔸Agro sector;

🔸IT technologies;

🔸 Medicine;

🔸Port facilities;

🔸 Energy.

There is also great interest in the supply of various types of equipment.

At the conference, clear steps regarding further cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova were discussed. In particular, the next meeting and visit of Moldovan companies to Ukraine for the development of bilateral cooperation with the CBU.

During her speech, Anzhelika Livitska talked about the support for investment projects in Ukraine (advantages and benefits for investors), current restrictions for work in Ukraine and necessary steps to attract foreign companies to work in Ukraine.

Oleksandr Starinskyi provided a detailed description of the construction sector in Ukraine and noted potentially interesting directions for cooperation.

Other members of the Ukrainian delegation presented projects that already could be of interest to foreign investors, in particular in Odesa and Kherson regions.
