The key principles of the developed agreements, created to strengthen dual education with the participation of construction companies and educational institutions, were discussed during the regular meeting of the working groups within the sequa project "Vocational Synergy," which took place on January 16, 2026.

💬 Opening the meeting, Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of CBU, emphasized: "We have our own conceptual vision for options to strengthen existing agreements between employers and educational institutions. We are developing them taking into account legal requirements as well as the real needs and capabilities of business. One of such options is business-oriented specialist training."

During the working group meeting, the developed drafts of the following documents were presented:
🔸 Practical Training Agreement.
🔸 Dual Education Program.
🔸 Student Labor Contract.

🗓️ Working group participants can submit their proposals and comments until January 23.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and Swisscontact.

📍 During the meeting, a round table was announced, dedicated to the discussion and formulation of recommendations regarding the procedure for practical training and a model student labor contract. The event will take place on January 30 at 10:00 AM in a hybrid format: offline (Kyiv) and online (Zoom). More details at the link: https://lnkd.in/dbDrcJMR

📋 For reference: CBU, together with the sequa organization, is implementing the "Vocational Synergy" project as part of the хештег#Skills4Recovery Multilateral Donor Initiative, funded by the European Union, Germany, Poland, Denmark, and Estonia, and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and Solidarity Fund PL (SFPL).

The goal of the project is to strengthen the vocational education system in Ukraine through more active involvement of the private sector and the development of dialogue between all stakeholders. Special attention is paid to the construction sector, where the development of new tools for practice-oriented personnel training is planned.
