♻️ Waste as a Resource: New Technologies for the Reconstruction of Ukraine

On May 7, 2026, with the support of UkraineInvest, a meeting was held between the CBU and representatives of the Dutch company NXT Building — an innovator in the field of circular construction and low-carbon building materials.

🤝 The meeting focused on the potential application of modern low-carbon methods (which ensure low CO₂ emissions or contribute to their reduction) and circular technologies in the future reconstruction of Ukraine, specifically: 🔸 the use of circular concrete in Ukraine;
🔸 recycling of construction debris and reuse of materials;
🔸 rapid-hardening concrete solutions for fast-track reconstruction;
🔸 implementation of ESG and low-carbon technologies in reconstruction projects;
🔸 potential areas of cooperation in sustainable reconstruction.

🏗️ Representatives of NXT Building presented their technological solutions for sustainable construction. The company specializes in the production of circular concrete (NXT Concrete), building materials made from recycled waste, and technologies for the reuse of demolition waste.

♻️ A highlight of the presentation was the NXT Separator technology, which allows for the conversion of demolished concrete into new building materials for reuse in construction projects.

📌 Participants noted that such technologies could become a vital element of Ukraine's future reconstruction, helping to reduce environmental impact, promote the reuse of materials, and integrate European approaches to green recovery.
