For the purpose of further integration into European and global environment, the priority tasks for CBU are:
- regulatory and legislative base improvement, bringing it closer to European and world standards;
- implementation of affordable housing programs;
- investment climate improvement;
- external financing attraction for the reconstruction projects in Ukraine;
- establishing transparent standards for the building complex development.
Due to the proposals of CBU Members, a number of amendments to the current legislation were adopted. The Confederation initiated over 1,000 qualitative modifications in construction and this, in turn, enabled Ukraine to raise from the 140th to the 20th out of 186 positions in the last Doing Business ranking by the indicator Dealing with Construction Permits.
CBU holds regular events of different kind attended by representatives of the state authority, local self-government bodies, international partners and market leaders. CBU together with representatives of the state authority develop regulatory and legislative changes in order to facilitate procedures and improve investment climate for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
