August 23 — National Flag Day of Ukraine

The blue and yellow banner is one of the primary symbols of our state. It embodies Ukraine, its freedom, independence, dignity, and resilience.

💙💛 Today, we feel the true cost of these symbols more than ever. Every day, our defenders bravely protect Ukraine, its territorial integrity, and sovereignty, fighting for our people's right to live in a free and independent nation. Thanks to their courage, strength, and self-sacrifice, the blue and yellow flag continues to wave over Ukrainian land.
It flies wherever Ukraine has stood firm. It is raised over liberated cities, carried by our military, and cherished as a symbol of the country we protect and fight for.

💙 Let us remember everyone who gave their lives for Ukraine, and thank those who continue to defend it today. Thank you to each and every person standing guard over Ukraine, protecting our cities and villages, our people, and our future.
