🛣️ CBU Expands Cooperation with Polish Partners in Road Infrastructure

On March 3, 2026, an online meeting was held between representatives of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) and the Polish Road Congress Association (PKD). The event was organized with the support of Olena Shtohryn, CBU’s Authorized Representative for cooperation with the Polish Association of Construction Employers (PZPB) and Managing Partner of Dictio Law Firm.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation, experience exchange, and the development of professional networks in infrastructure construction.

PKD was represented by:
👤 Zbigniew Kotlarek, President of PKD.
👤 Janusz Bohatkiewicz, Director of the Road and Bridge Research Institute, Vice-President of PKD.
👤 Aleksandra Skorupska, Chairperson of the PIARC National Committee, Director of the PKD Office.

CBU participants included:
👤 Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of CBU.
👤 Olena Shtohryn, Managing Partner of Dictio Law Firm, Member of the CBU Board of Directors.
👤 Artem Bezuhlyi, Director of the National Institute of Infrastructure Development, Member of the CBU Board of Directors.

🎙️ Following the meeting, CBU representatives were invited to participate in the V Asphalt Days Forum, which will take place on March 23–25, 2026, in Ostróda, Poland. This event is a key professional platform dedicated to asphalt technologies, bringing together road industry experts, manufacturers, contractors, and the scientific community. This year's forum focuses on current challenges and trends in bitumen pavements, decarbonization, environmental standards, and the development of the road construction market.

Furthermore, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine and the Polish Road Congress Association is planned during the event.

📋 Background: The Polish Road Congress Association acts as an integrator for the road sector across both public and private levels. It serves as a consultant, shapes public opinion, and provides professional assistance in decision-making and implementing road construction activities in Poland.
