👷 Happy World Engineering Day for Sustainable Development!

🎉 Today we celebrate World Engineering Day — a professional holiday established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

🤝 On March 4, 1968, a historic meeting of representatives from 50 scientific and technical associations from around the world took place in Paris under the auspices of UNESCO. This gathering led to the creation of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO). The founding of the WFEO was a crucial step toward institutionalizing international engineering cooperation, creating a unified professional platform for knowledge exchange and developing shared approaches to global technical challenges. Today, it unites engineering associations from over 100 countries, including Ukraine, promoting standards, innovation, and professional responsibility on a global scale.

🏗 For Ukraine, engineering is of strategic importance. Rebuilding destroyed infrastructure, modernizing the energy sector, and implementing innovative technologies in the industrial and defense sectors are areas where professionalism, precise calculations, and responsible engineering decisions directly impact the state's security and resilience.
