🌐CBU joins the discussion on façade systems during ProfVentFasade
Anatoliy Berkuta, Vice President of the CBU, took part in the professional business meeting ProfVentFasade, organized by Prof Build magazine together with BarkS and supported by the CBU, on March 27, 2025.
🤝Mr. Berkuta spoke at the opening of the meeting and presented a letter of appreciation to the professional magazine ProfBuild for effective cooperation, coverage of current issues in the construction sector, and support for professional discussion, congratulating the magazine on its twelfth anniversary.
At the same time, Anatoliy Berkuta drew attention to the need to overcome the crisis in the construction industry caused by the shortage of labor and engineering-technical potential. He recalled that the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, together with the Business Ombudsman Council of Ukraine, held a working meeting, following which an appeal was prepared and submitted to the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine regarding a revision of the approach to forming wages in the investor’s estimate.
The letter proposes setting wages for grade 3.8 at around UAH 40,000. The recommended wage level should be determined annually by the Ministry and should be the same across all regions of Ukraine. This will help create conditions for the return of highly qualified professionals who, for understandable reasons, left the country in recent years, and also encourage young people to pursue construction professions through higher and vocational education.
ProfVentFasade gathered over 100 participants, including manufacturers, developers, architects, suppliers, designers, and market experts who shared their professional opinions.
In particular, the discussion covered the following topics:
🔹Legislative changes for the construction business in 2025
🔹Market surveillance and compliance with Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011
🔹Top failures in the installation of ventilated façades and how to avoid them
🔹Energy efficiency and durability of façade systems
🔹Market crisis and workforce shortage in the construction industry
🔹Marketing in the construction business: why it doesn’t work and how to fix it
🔹State support programs and business cooperation with the employment service
Representatives of companies that are members of the Board of Directors of the CBU also took part in the event, including Wurth Ukraine, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, Univer, Olsten Partners (a valid member of the CBU), and others.
🤝CBU continues to develop its cooperation with its reliable partner Prof Build.
WE WILL WIN AND REBUILD EVERYTHING! 💪
TOGETHER TO VICTORY!
GLORY TO UKRAINE! 💙💛
