🤝 Discussing Cooperation Opportunities with Norwegian Partners  

On March 21, 2025, a meeting took place between the CBU and NOCON Norwegian Construction AS.  

👥 The Confederation of Builders of Ukraine was represented by Oleksandr Chervak, CEO of the CBU, while the Norwegian side was represented by Trond Håkon Olsen, Owner and Board Member of NOCON Norwegian Construction AS, and Jan Olav Djuvsland, CEO of NOCON Norwegian Construction AS.  

During the meeting, the participants discussed prospects for strategic business partnerships and the implementation of modern Norwegian construction technologies for social housing and infrastructure in Ukraine.  

☝️ The issue of construction waste recycling was also raised. In particular, the partners informed that SINTEF, with funding from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has developed a waste recycling project that may soon begin operations in Ukraine.  

🏗️ Special attention was given to the development and implementation of innovative construction technologies. Oleksandr Chervak addressed the Norwegian side with a request to provide detailed information regarding the practices and standards of social housing construction in Norway for potential application in Ukraine.  

NOCON Norwegian Construction AS confirmed their readiness to share their expertise to ensure high-quality, fast, and modern reconstruction in Ukraine.
