🤝 Spanish Business Ready to Join Ukraine’s Reconstruction  

On March 24, 2025, a meeting took place between the CBU and the Spanish association SERCOBE, facilitated by the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain.  

👤 Representing the CBU, Oleksandr Chervak, CEO of the CBU, informed colleagues about the Confederation’s activities, noting that the CBU is the largest industry association, bringing together over 900 members.  

👤 The Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Capital Goods, (Sercobe Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Bienes de Equipo - SERCOBE), was represented by José Ignacio Mora, General Director of SERCOBE. He stated that the association has a concrete interest in Ukraine’s reconstruction and is ready to participate in recovery projects.  

Specifically, José Ignacio Mora announced plans to organize a Spanish-Ukrainian B2B meeting to discuss potential areas of cooperation, such as establishing Spanish-Ukrainian enterprises for Ukraine’s reconstruction. The parties agreed to hold this meeting in the first half of April 2025, with details to be specified later.  

🏘️ Additionally, the General Director of SERCOBE highlighted that many Spanish companies with experience in post-war reconstruction in other countries are prepared to contribute to Ukraine’s recovery.  

Oleksandr Chervak expressed interest in further cooperation and emphasized the importance of engaging international partners in Ukraine’s reconstruction process. He stressed that the CBU would facilitate communication between Ukrainian and Spanish businesses.  

The parties agreed to continue exploring possible formats of cooperation and emphasized the need to consolidate efforts for an effective reconstruction of Ukraine.
