✅CEO of the CBU participated in the Stakeholder Forum of the Green Recovery Platform of Ukraine

On April 7, 2025, Oleksandr Chervak, CEO of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU), took part in the first Stakeholder Forum of the Green Recovery Platform of Ukraine.

🔗The Green Recovery Platform of Ukraine, launched in 2024 during the International Ukraine Recovery Conference in Berlin, is an important coordination tool between the Ukrainian authorities and international partners. Its goal is to integrate environmental aspects and sustainable development principles into the recovery process of Ukraine.

The Stakeholder Forum of the Green Recovery Platform of Ukraine is aimed at assessing the progress achieved, coordinating current initiatives, and identifying specific priority actions for Ukraine’s green recovery in 2025.

During the forum, representatives of government bodies, civil society, businesses, academia, international organizations, and financial institutions discussed the challenges and opportunities of Ukraine’s “green” recovery.

📍In particular, Oleksandr Chervak participated in the event on the topic “Green Jobs in Ukraine” and provided information on the potential of green construction in the industry. He emphasized the importance of state support and donor initiatives aimed at implementing energy-efficient and energy-independent solutions, developing alternative green energy, as well as the necessity of actively involving businesses in adopting environmentally friendly approaches in modern construction.

👤Taras Demkura, Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce;  

👤Oleksandr Rozumnyi, Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.

The discussion was initiated by the Resource and Analysis Center “Society and Environment” with the support of the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Kyiv — Ukraine Office, and the All-Ukrainian NGO “Living Planet” in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme.
