🌳Gender Equality Park: Together on the Path to Reconstruction

On April 5, 2025, a tree planting ceremony and the official opening of the “Gender Equality Park: Together on the Path to Reconstruction” took place. The park is dedicated to the organizers, implementers, partners, and graduates of the “Alef Stroy Construction Equipment Operator School.”

👤The event was attended by Volodymyr Karpliuk, Head of the Regional Office of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine in the Kyiv region, CEO of IG “MOLODIST” and LLC “Vidvazhnykh,” and a member of the Board of Directors of the CBU.

As noted by the organizers, the newly established park with 100 trees symbolizes the contribution of all program participants to the development of a professional field not typically associated with women – excavator and loader operators.

🗓️The training program “Alef Stroy Construction Equipment Operator School” ran from August 2024 to February 2025 and helped open new opportunities for women in the construction sector.

During this time, 54 women aged 19 to 57 acquired new skills, learning to operate excavators, telescopic loaders, and other mini-equipment.

📍The program was implemented by the profile company Alef Stroy (LLC “VBK Elit-Proektbud”), a member of the Board of Directors of the CBU, in cooperation with the Nemishaieve Vocational College of National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, with the support of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and in partnership with the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.
