🏗️ Confederation of Builders of Ukraine - 15 Years!

For 15 years, the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine has been working on forming clear and transparent rules for the market, developing legislation, and establishing effective interaction between the state and business.

🧱 Just a few years ago, the situation in the construction industry was complicated — obtaining a construction permit was effectively a privilege for a select few. Today, it is a different reality, shaped by the consistent work of the CBU in partnership with the state and business.

During its activity, the CBU has initiated over 1,300 changes in construction, which contributed to increasing the transparency of processes and simplifying permitting procedures. As a result, Ukraine rose from 140th to 20th place in the Doing Business 2020 ranking for the "Dealing with Construction Permits" indicator.

📕 The Confederation plays an active role in shaping the legislative framework; in particular, it participated in the development and improvement of the Law of Ukraine "On Regulation of Town-Planning Activity," and is also involved in the work on the Urban Planning Code and state industry development strategies.

At the same time, the CBU is actively developing international cooperation, representing Ukraine in the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) and building partnerships with leading international organizations and businesses. The Confederation facilitates the integration of the Ukrainian construction market into the European space, the implementation of modern standards and practices, and also works on the development of professional education, training personnel in accordance with market needs.

🏗️ With the start of the full-scale invasion, the CBU focused its activities on the issues of rebuilding and consolidating the efforts of the state, business, and international partners. In particular, a series of forums were held in Ukraine and abroad, as well as a number of international events and working meetings aimed at attracting investments, exchanging experience, and developing practical solutions for the reconstruction of the country.

The Confederation of Builders of Ukraine continues to work systematically on the development of the industry, the formation of transparent rules, the expansion of international cooperation, and the creation of conditions for the effective rebuilding of Ukraine.
