🤝Consolidating Efforts with Swedish Partners for Ukraine's Reconstruction  

On January 27, 2025, a meeting was held between representatives of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine and partners from V94 Ventures and Swedish Rebuild Partners.  

✔️During the meeting, Oleksandr Chervak, CEO of the CBU, discussed with partners the prospects of involving Swedish expertise in Ukraine’s reconstruction processes.  

🎓In particular, V94 Ventures focuses on training and educating workers in the construction industry, as Ukraine faces a significant shortage of specialists, and many war veterans require upskilling or retraining.  

The V94 Ventures training program aims to provide high-quality preparation for employment in the construction sector. The training will include both theoretical instruction and practical sessions at construction industry enterprises. The program's funding will be provided through grants and support from the Swedish Government.  

☝️The Swedish side places a strong emphasis on the education of veterans returning from the frontlines. Additionally, construction companies interested in investing in workforce development and creating long-term employment opportunities will be involved, along with public authorities in Ukraine and abroad that plan to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction. The program will involve close cooperation with higher education and vocational training institutions in the construction sector.  

📍During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of cooperation between the CBU and Swedish partners to create comprehensive training programs, develop professional standards, and launch initiatives that would attract investments into Ukraine's construction sector. The parties considered joint work on the development of innovative educational solutions and improving the qualifications of construction specialists in line with modern European standards.  

The CBU continues to actively expand cooperation with international partners to ensure the swift and high-quality reconstruction of Ukraine.
