🌐 Members of the CBU participated in the international exhibition World of Concrete 2025  

For over 50 years, World of Concrete has been serving the global construction community! The exhibition aims to establish connections, provide analytics, and offer opportunities that help participants grow, conduct business, and make informed decisions.  

🤝 CBU members had the opportunity to attend the largest event in the concrete industry, held on January 20-23 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, free of charge. The participation of representatives of Ukrainian companies at World of Concrete 2025 was supported by the US TRADE AGENCY. Among the participants were members of the CBU Board of Directors, including Royal House, Budivelny Alliance Group (Будівельний Альянс Груп), Imperatyv, and others.  

According to Borys Nikolenko, Head of the CBU Regional Office in Ivano-Frankivsk Region and co-owner of the Imperatyv plant, who attended the event, the exhibition featured construction market players from the USA, Canada, Mexico, and several EU countries.  

Ukrainian entrepreneurs received answers to the question of what is needed to enter the American market. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about new American technologies and advanced equipment that can be utilized in Ukraine to reduce the cost of construction services/work and automate processes.  

🌐 This is an opportunity for enterprises to find ways to strengthen their positions by entering international markets. Launching new types of products will contribute to attracting foreign currency to Ukraine, increasing company profits, and raising salaries.  

🤝 Additionally, as part of the exhibition, B2B meetings between Ukrainian and American business representatives were held with the support of US TRADE AGENCY — an invaluable opportunity to establish contacts.  

As part of World of Concrete 2025, forums, training sessions, separate discussions, competitions, experience sharing, and case presentations were organized.  

From showcasing the future of masonry to friendly competitions and celebrating the expertise of seasoned professionals in thrilling showdowns, this year’s event was a whirlwind of innovation and excitement.  

🏆 During the exhibition, the SPEC MIX BRICKLAYER 500® World Championship took place. The event gathered the finest bricklayers, masons, and world-class professionals who competed for the prestigious title of 2025 World Champion. The stakes were incredibly high, with a prize pool exceeding $125,000.  

🏗️ Contractors gained insights into innovative strategies for efficiently laying high-quality concrete slabs during tilt-up construction projects, which are becoming increasingly popular among clients.  

Industry experts and concrete contractors shared their experiences and successful case studies on creating top-tier flooring for specialized projects. The event served as a platform for interactive learning and knowledge exchange: from discussing best practices to addressing challenges.  

🤖 A key highlight of the discussions was the integration of robotic technologies into the construction industry. Emphasis was placed on how these technological advancements improve the quality and efficiency of construction processes while also attracting younger generations. By demonstrating innovative approaches to tasks using robotics, the industry is successfully drawing in young professionals and apprentices, fostering a new wave of talent and enthusiasm in construction.  

Throughout World of Concrete 2025, attendees enjoyed a variety of captivating events that showcased innovation and craftsmanship in the industry.  

Meetings and open forums highlighted the future of the sector, particularly through discussions on 3D printing and robotics. The insights gained underscored the commitment to innovation and progress in construction, laying the groundwork for future advancements and collaboration.
