🕯️ Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine

📅 On August 29, Ukraine honors the memory of the defenders who gave their lives for the freedom, independence, and future of our state.

🕯️ This day is about gratitude, memory, and respect for every man and woman who stood up to defend Ukraine—for those who died in the fight for our freedom, protecting their native land, their loved ones, and the right of Ukrainians to live in their own country.

🇺🇦 Their courage and sacrifice will forever remain part of Ukraine's history. It is thanks to our defenders that the country continues to live today, cities and communities keep working, new plans are being made, and faith in the future is preserved.

⚔️ The war continues, and Ukrainian soldiers keep defending our land every single day. Behind every day of resistance stand human lives, families, and personal stories. Therefore, the memory of those we have lost is not only a recollection of the past, but also our responsibility to future generations.

🏗️ While rebuilding Ukraine, developing communities, and creating a new future, it is important to remember the price at which this opportunity is won. Every restored house, every rebuilt community, and every step toward a peaceful life is part of continuing the work of those who gave the most precious thing for Ukraine—their own lives.

🤝 Today we bow our heads in memory of the fallen defenders of Ukraine. We thank everyone who defended and continues to defend our state.
