Discussion of the possibilities of cooperation with Polish architects 🤝

✅On November 28, 2023, a working meeting of leading Polish architects and the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine took place, with the support of the Foreign Trade Bureau in Kyiv of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

During the discussion, Lev Partskhaladze, President of СBU, noted that the Confederation is open to cooperation with foreign specialists, in particular, architects who are interested in the reconstruction of Ukraine: "We are interested in new technologies and the experience of Poland. We have qualified and talented architects, but I believe that a foreign perspective will also not be excessive."

👉Polish architectural companies (FS&P Arcus, Grupa 5 Architekci, Lewicki i Łatak, JEMS Architekci) have told about their projects, priorities and have expressed readiness to cooperate with Ukrainian partners.

Lev Partskhaladze listed the construction priorities of Ukraine:

✔️Development of general plans for destroyed territorial communities with planning for 25 years ahead, taking into account all the necessary infrastructure for residents. After all, in order to improve Ukraine's cooperation with foreign companies, communities need to have ready-made projects, the construction or reconstruction of which can be started right now.

✔️Development of projects and construction of typical modern projects for public buildings: hospitals, administrative buildings, medical centers, etc. After all, such buildings should be business cards of cities and towns.

✔️Restoration and construction of housing for Ukrainians. After all, housing is one of those sectors that suffered one of the biggest losses, and therefore the pace of construction should be incredibly high. If comparing with post-war indicators, Ukraine will need about 200 years to restore, update and build new residential buildings. Therefore, it is extremely necessary to start this process today: prepare the necessary permit documentation, develop modern, energy-efficient projects, etc.

💬 "In general, Ukraine is very interested in modern construction technologies. We understand that Poland is 10 years more progressive in urban development, reconstruction and implementation of energy efficiency and energy independence. In addition, he has experience in post-war reconstruction after the Second World War. Therefore, Ukrainian business is really interested in close cooperation and is ready to from the experience of partners", - said the President of the CBU.

To speed up cooperation processes, the Confederation will disseminate information among its member developers about Polish architectural companies, their experience and readiness for communication and partnership.

Polish architects noted that they were impressed by the passion and ambition of the Ukrainian construction business. And they also once again expressed their desire for fruitful cooperation in the future for the successful and high-quality restoration and construction of new modern facilities in Ukraine.

It should be noted that on the same day the Industry Consultation: Architecture for the Restoration of Ukraine was held, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kyiv, the Office of the Government Commissioner for Polish-Ukrainian Development Cooperation and the Foreign Trade Bureau in Kyiv of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of the CBU, and Taras Lylyk, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CBU for the activities of expert organizations, took part in the consultation.
