🏢Employment of Young Professionals in the Construction Industry

💡Job openings from leading employers, insights on increasing the chances of getting the desired position, and the experience of CBU’s cooperation with students — all this was discussed on October 3 during the online meeting dedicated to graduate employment, “Job Fair.”

The event was organized by the Center for Pre-University Education and Career of O. M. Beketov National University of Urban Economy in Kharkiv, a CBU member.

The moderator of the event was Tetiana Malynina, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work at O.M. Beketov NUUEKh.

💬Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, noted:
“The biggest problem of the construction industry is the shortage of qualified personnel. That is why we want to strengthen it with specialists who have solid theoretical knowledge — graduates of leading universities.”

📋The meeting addressed the need for higher-quality CVs that include preferred regions, areas of specialization, and formats of cooperation. Such CVs are planned to be shared with the largest contracting and architectural companies.

📚Companies are ready to employ not only graduates but also senior-year students. Particular attention was paid to the training of professionals and the key skills that should be prioritized.
