📍 Expanding Cooperation in Vocational Education for Veterans

🗣 On February 6, 2026, a working meeting was held between the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) and a delegation from its strategic business partner — the Swedish company V94 AB. The company’s activities are focused on the development of vocational education as a key tool for supporting the economy and ensuring the sustainable recovery of Ukraine.

🤝 During the meeting, the parties discussed further cooperation aimed at enhancing the human resource potential of the construction industry, implementing European occupational safety standards, and integrating veterans into the civilian professional environment.

📌 Following the negotiations, a cooperation agreement was signed for the implementation of the SAFER Reconstruction project, establishing CBU’s role as a key partner. The project includes a comprehensive training program for military veterans to obtain professional certification as Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) coordinators.

📋 Reference: SAFER Reconstruction is a project that provides training for Ukrainian war veterans to become HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) coordinators at the Vinnytsia Professional College of Construction over a period of 12 months.

The project is being implemented in cooperation between V94 and Vinnytsia Professional College of Construction, the Ukrainian Veterans Foundation, the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine and Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture.
