🏗️Foundation Construction: Application of Excavator and Crane Vibratory Hammers, Hydraulic Hammers, and Pile Driving Equipment
The capabilities of this method were presented by Ivanna Rukin, CEO of Machinist, a strategic partner of the forum “Modern Finnish Technologies, Equipment and Experience - for Ukraine’s Reconstruction,” during her speech as part of the discussion panel.

⚙️The uniqueness of the construction technology lies in its ability to erect structures in close proximity to existing buildings. The technology involves the collection and control of resonant vibrations that occur during the transfer of load from the pile element to the building structure. This minimizes the impact on surrounding structures and allows for foundation work in conditions where traditional pile driving methods are unacceptable or dangerous.
This makes it possible to: construct foundations in densely built-up urban areas, work near cultural heritage sites, and avoid restrictions associated with traditional pile driving.
Machinist OY employs advanced pile driving systems for installing reinforced concrete piles, providing high precision and efficiency in the most challenging construction conditions.
🌊Particular attention is given to large-size vibratory hammers designed for offshore operations — including work near bodies of water, shorelines, and offshore platforms. This equipment enables safe and precise installation of structural elements in water-saturated soils and under strong hydrodynamic loads.
🤖In confined spaces, such as under bridges or near dense developments, a high-tech machine with an integrated computer system is used, which is compatible with any excavator regardless of brand. This system:
🔶provides the operator with real-time visualization of the pile element’s position;
🔶automates the process of insertion, extraction, and reinstallation of sheet piles;
🔶allows for the repeated use of sheet piles, significantly reducing costs.
Precision, reusability of elements, and adaptability to any base machinery — all of this takes pile driving operations to an entirely new level.
