🤝Strategic Partnership for Ukraine’s Reconstruction: Signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between CBU and Poltava Polytechnic

On May 13, 2025, a solemn signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation took place between the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine and the National University «Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic».

This important strategic step is aimed at the comprehensive expansion of fruitful partnerships between education, science, and business in the key field of engineering and construction.

During the official signing ceremony, Oleksandr Rotov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CBU, outlined in detail the key areas of CBU’s activities, which include engineering in the field of advanced building materials and cutting-edge technologies.

The main goal of the signed Memorandum is to consolidate the efforts of experienced educators, talented scientists, and leading construction companies for the effective restoration of critically important industrial and civil infrastructure that has suffered significant destruction as a result of brutal russian aggression.

To achieve this ambitious and extremely important goal, the parties plan active joint work in several key areas:

🔹 involvement of both domestic and international construction companies in the implementation of large-scale reconstruction projects for destroyed facilities;

🔹 active and effective implementation of the latest building materials and advanced technologies that meet modern requirements;

🔹 raising the level of transparency and a determined fight against corruption in the construction sector, which ensures effective resource utilization;

🔹 increasing the responsibility of all participants in the construction process, including investors, developers, and local communities;

🔹 development and implementation of joint training programs for educators, scientists, and practitioners to enhance professional qualifications;

🔹 initiating necessary changes to existing building standards and developing relevant legislative drafts regulating the sector;

🔹 joining efforts to ensure comprehensive, unified support for engineering education, advanced science, and successful construction business in Ukraine.

The signing of the Memorandum is a strong signal of unity and readiness for joint efforts in the recovery and development of Ukraine's construction industry.
