🔋 From political statements to multi-billion deals - URC 2026

On June 26, Gdansk hosted the second day of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, the largest international platform dedicated to the recovery, modernization, and long-term development of Ukraine. The event brought together over 100 countries and more than 7,000 participants, including members of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, reaffirming its status as a key global venue for coordinating international support and shaping reconstruction solutions.

📈 As noted by the conference participants, the results of URC 2026 solidify the transition to a systemic recovery model, where practical financial instruments and long-term investment mechanisms play a key role rather than political statements.

📍 The European integration track became one of the key focus areas for the Ukrainian delegation.

Within this block, a series of meetings were held with representatives of governments, international organizations, and businesses, including Microsoft, as well as the governments of the Netherlands and Slovenia.
During the European integration block, an Agreement between Ukraine and the Government of the Czech Republic on technical and financial cooperation was also signed, expanding opportunities to support recovery, modernization, and the implementation of reforms.

🏗️ The infrastructure block of the conference focused on launching practical reconstruction projects. The delegation of the State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine concluded agreements with the EIB, which open up funding for road and transport projects in various regions of the country.

🛤️ During discussions on transport and logistics resilience, the role of Ukrainian experience as an indicator of new security realities for Europe was highlighted.

In summary, the conference solidified a change in the interaction model — from political declarations to practical financial instruments and the launch of long-term recovery projects. Ukraine is moving to a stage of systemic reconstruction, where infrastructure, defense, energy, and European integration form a single strategic direction for the development and modernization of the state.

🔁 It was separately confirmed that the next Ukraine Recovery Conference will take place in Estonia — Tallinn will host URC 2027.
