👥 From workforce shortages to systemic solutions: the concept of the Roadmap for the construction industry has been presented
🏗️ During the roundtable "Construction workforce for the rebuilding of Ukraine: Roadmap for the development of the human resource capacity of the Ukrainian construction sector for 2026–2030," organized by the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine with the support of the multi-donor initiative хештег#Skills4Recovery, the concept of the Roadmap for the development of the human resource capacity of the Ukrainian construction sector for 2026–2030 was presented.
👩💼 The concept was presented by the Head of the CBU Committee on Legislative and Regulatory Activities, partner at the law firm Altelaw&Sempra, and member of the CBU Board of Directors, Olha Sydorchuk.
📊 The document is based on the results of the first comprehensive sectoral study of the workforce needs in the construction sector, which confirmed a systemic shortage of qualified workers and the need to form a new training model for the rebuilding of Ukraine.
🎯 The main goal of the Roadmap is to create a self-sufficient workforce provision system for the construction industry, capable of responding promptly to labor market changes and providing the sector with the necessary specialists.
🏛️ One of the key elements of the concept is the creation of the Sectoral Council, which is to become a platform for coordinating the interaction between the state, business, educational institutions, and the professional community.
🤝 A significant role in implementing the Roadmap is assigned to business.
📈 The first stage of implementation (0–5 years) involves the creation and stabilization of the system with the support of the state and international partners. During this period, the main focus will be on forming the regulatory framework, launching new workforce training mechanisms, and developing the training infrastructure.
🏛️ The second stage (5–10 years) involves a gradual transition to a self-sufficient workforce model for the industry, in which the professional community and business will play a leading role in shaping human resource potential.
📅 The next stage will be the public presentation of the Roadmap for the development of the human resource capacity of the Ukrainian construction sector for 2026–2030, which will take place on August 5, 2026.
WE WILL WIN AND REBUILD EVERYTHING! 💪
TOGETHER TO VICTORY!
GLORY TO UKRAINE! 💙💛
