💼 Green recovery in Ukraine: UNEP on the potential of green jobs

🍃 On 8 October 2025, as part of the CBU Business Day during the round table ‘Green Skills for Ukraine's Recovery: Dialogue between Government and Business’, Pier Carlo Sandei, Head of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), spoke about the potential of green jobs in Ukraine.

🎤 ‘In our opinion, it is important to start preparing for green recovery now. The environment must be part of the solution,’ he said in his interview.

🔹 According to him, Ukraine can create up to 2 million green jobs, and preparing people, resources and skills now will make the recovery effective, sustainable and economically viable. Green skills and an ecological approach will become the foundation for the country's modern economy and European integration.
