📌 Who and how will prepare personnel for the largest reconstruction in Europe

On July 14, 2026, the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, as part of the multi-donor initiative Skills4Recovery, will hold a roundtable titled "Construction Personnel for Ukraine's Reconstruction: Roadmap for Developing the Human Resource Capacity of Ukraine's Construction Sector for 2026–2030."

🏗️ The event will serve as a key platform to discuss one of the main challenges of Ukraine's reconstruction — the shortage of qualified personnel in the construction industry and the development of a new system for training specialists in line with market needs.

🌐 The initiative is co-financed by the European Union, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and Solidarity Fund PL in partnership with Ukrainian institutions.

👥 The event will be attended by representatives of ministries, international organizations, businesses, industry associations, educational institutions, the State Employment Center, the National Qualifications Agency, trade unions, and NGOs.

🎤 Moderator: Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.

Representatives of companies awarded the CBU Quality Mark will also join the strategic discussion.

📌 The main goal of the event is to develop practical proposals for the draft Roadmap and to form systemic solutions to ensure the construction industry has qualified personnel during the large-scale reconstruction of Ukraine.
