🌐On June 19, the first part of the 3rd Forum for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - PAIH "Integration - Economy - Partnership" took place with the support of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine.
During the forum, there was a session on the topic: "Reconstruction of Ukraine's infrastructure - sectoral cooperation potential".
The speakers of the session were:
🔹Roman Andarak, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine;
🔹Mykyta Mozharovskyi, Head of Material, Technical and Humanitarian Aid of DTEK;
🔹Lev Partskhaladze, President of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine;
🔹Witold Sławiński, Commissioner of the Board of Polski Związek Pracodawców Budownictwa

🗣️ Roman Andarak substantiated the strategic role of Ukraine's cooperation with Poland and the main plans for the reconstruction of the energy infrastructure.
He emphasized the need for priority restoration of equipment such as generators, transformers and high-voltage lines that were destroyed by russian shelling.
Roman Andarak noted that the main criterion for purchasing equipment now is not the price, but the completeness and terms of delivery, and added that the state has significantly simplified the procurement procedure for energy restoration and shared further plans, including:
🔹cancellation of import fair and VAT on equipment for restoring the energy system of Ukraine;
🔹the Government's decision to ease licensing requirements for fuel storage for generators is already in the works;
🔹facilitation of trade in fuel for generators.
Roman Andarak also provided information on the simplification of procurement thanks to Tetra Tech's platform.

🗣️Mykyta Mozharovskyi spoke in detail about the modernization of Ukraine's energy system. He noted the main directions of development of the energy sector and said that currently DTEK implements a large number of projects for the restoration of power plants, and is engaged in the development of wind energy and renewable energy sources.
Mykyta Mozharovskyi also emphasized the significant shortage of specialists in the energy sector and the importance of cooperation with international partners.

🗣️Lev Partskhaladze, President of the CBU, spoke about the difficulties, which construction industry is currently facing the and pointed out the areas in which Polish business can join.
"Thousands of houses in Ukraine have been destroyed, cities have been destroyed. We need a big recovery. We want to build modern houses. First of all, we need technology. There is already a shortage of personnel in the construction industry, despite the active increase in female employees," said Lev Partskhaladze.
🍃 The President of the CBU emphasized the importance of the development of industrial parks in Ukraine and noted that currently, according to the new law, the state provides certain benefits to manufacturers who seek to locate the production of construction materials on the territory of industrial parks, in particular:
🔸non-payment of import fair and VAT on equipment;
🔸non-payment of income tax for 10 years, subject to reinvestment;
🔸preferential tax rate on real estate and land.
🏗️ Also, Lev Partskhaladze informed about the lack of construction materials in Ukraine. Thus, in Ukraine, the greatest need is currently in the production of glass, finishing materials, cement and concrete.
He spoke about the optimal model of cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian businesses: "First of all, we need to exchange information, develop the countries' potential, so that our companies can productively communicate and discuss cooperation. And today's forum is a great opportunity to establish business relations with our Polish partners."

🗣️ Witold Sławiński spoke about the importance of rebuilding and modernizing Ukraine's infrastructure. He assured about the readiness of Polish business to cooperate with Ukrainian companies and the importance of developing mutual relations.
🤝Finally, the President of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to Polish partners for their trust and support and expressed hope for successful further cooperation between our countries.
