🌐On June 20, the second part of the 3rd Forum for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - PAIH "Integration - Economy - Partnership" took place with the support of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine

As part of the forum, Oleksandr Chervak, CEO of the CBU, took part in a roundtable discussion on construction topics.

🗣️ Oleksandr Chervak ​​spoke about the possible directions of cooperation between Ukrainian and Polish companies: "In particular, cooperation in the production of construction materials, which according to experts' forecasts, may be in short supply during large-scale reconstruction, is important. First of all, it is glass, and there may also be a shortage of cement, insulation materials, profiles, and others. The next direction of cooperation is construction companies and those representatives who want to organize internships for employees."

Mr. Chervak emphasized the importance of changing the legislative framework, introducing best practices for the reconstruction of Ukraine and investments in the construction industry.

🗒️"Now we see the TOP categories of reconstruction in Ukraine. These are fortification structures, energy infrastructure, both restoration and protective structures around it, reconstruction of social infrastructure and housing," said CEO of the CBU.

🏘️Representatives of Polish companies talked about their experience in building container cities in Ukraine. They emphasized the advantage of quick transportation and assembly of such buildings and shared the experience of using container cities for military purposes.

☝️Yevhen Plashchenko talked about the prospect of further use of modular buildings in Ukraine. He noted that in Ukraine, modular construction cannot be compared with capital construction, as it is not provided for by the legislation of Ukraine, but it can be used as a temporary solution.

🌊Representatives of water infrastructure enterprises in Poland assured that they are ready to help Ukrainian companies in the implementation of European norms regarding the quality of drinking water. They are also ready to facilitate the search for partners who will join this initiative.

🏗️In addition, representatives of Polish business reported confidence in successful cooperation with Ukrainian companies regarding the production of construction materials and training of workers, which will be an important aspect during the global reconstruction of Ukraine.

🗣️"I would like to advise Ukraine not to be afraid to open its market. Do it smart, think through all the steps you have to take. At one time, Poland made many mistakes, but we are ready to help you avoid these mistakes," Witold Sławiński emphasized.

🌐Finally, Oleksandr Chervak ​​summarized the main areas of possible cooperation between Ukraine and Poland and expressed readiness to establish and strengthen relations with international partners in order to promote the reconstruction of our state.
