Press Conference by DIAM and CBU on Construction Deregulation: Resolutions Adopted by the Government to Accelerate Rebuilding

🔺Oleksandr Novytskyi, Head of the State Inspection of Architecture and Urban Planning of Ukraine (DIAM)
🔺Representative of the State Enterprise "Administrator of the Urban Planning Cadastre at the State Level" (AMBKD)

On April 24, the Government adopted a number of resolutions to accelerate rebuilding, including:
– introducing the possibility to choose the state architectural and construction control body to receive administrative services;
– introducing a mechanism for appealing refusals to provide urban planning conditions and restrictions.

The initiatives aim to ensure the stability of investment planning in the construction sector, create favorable conditions for rebuilding the country, reduce the regulatory burden on business, and improve the quality of administrative procedures.

Currently, work is underway to create the technical capability to implement the aforementioned changes. It is expected that they will become operational in a few months.

During the press conference, representatives of DIAM, CBU, and AMBKD will discuss:
1. the problems delaying the implementation of construction projects and the need to adopt these changes;
2. the innovations envisaged by the adopted resolutions;
3. how the procedures for choosing the state architectural and construction control body and appealing the refusal to issue urban planning conditions and restrictions will work;
4. the expected outcome of implementing the adopted decisions.
