The forum program includes:
🔹 the role of the Baltic Sea in diversifying energy supplies to the region and Ukraine;
🔹 investing in Ukraine's energy sector: needs, risks, and support instruments;
🔹 development of nuclear energy in Poland and offshore wind energy;
🔹 biogas and bioethanol as components of energy security;
🔹 energy efficiency and the role of local self-government authorities;
🔹 cybersecurity of energy infrastructure.
🪖 About 250 representatives of business, the public sector, local governments, and the expert community will participate in the event. Special attention will be paid to the issue of energy sovereignty in times of war, as Russian aggression has demonstrated the critical importance of stable access to energy for the state, economy, and society.
🌐 Świnoujście, as the venue for the forum, is a prime example of the region's energy infrastructure — it is here that the LNG terminal is located, which ensures the supply of natural gas to Poland and Ukraine.
The event will take place under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of State Assets, the Ministry of Energy, and the Chairman of the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine of the Prime Minister's Chancellery.
