📝 Results of the Working Group Meeting on Developing the "Concreter" Professional Standard Project for the Last Quarter

📆 On December 19, the final 2025 meeting of the working group for the development of the "Concreter" professional standard was held. The event was organized by the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) in partnership with the "Public-Private Partnership to Improved Professional Education in Ukraine" project (EdUP), supported by Swisscontact.

🔎 During the meeting, the consolidated results of the working group members' independent efforts were presented, and the overall progress was summarized.

💬 Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of CBU, stated: "Despite the challenging conditions, we are maintaining our pace and will return to systematic cooperation after the New Year holidays. I hope the coming year will bring not only the approval of the new professional standard but also fulfill professional and industry expectations. Thank you for your resilience, openness to cooperation, and shared responsibility for the result."

During this period, the working group members developed a list of labor functions:
🔹 Installation and dismantling of formwork.
🔹 Fabrication of reinforcement cages.
🔹 Preparation of concrete/mortar mixtures.
🔹 Placing and compacting of concrete/mortar mixtures.
🔹 Curing of concrete.
🔹 Repair of concrete structural components.

📌 Competencies for each function were agreed upon, ensuring they meet the requirements for high-quality work in modern construction.

💬 Svitlana Kravets, Head of the Center for Modern Professions and Learning Technologies at the Institute of Vocational Education of the NAES of Ukraine, thanked all participants for their systematic and meaningful work: "We have formed an active working group involving business representatives and educators, and we can already see significant results of our collaboration."
