🏗️Setting New Standards in Game-Changing Lifting Technologies
During the forum "Modern Finnish Technologies, Equipment, and Experience - for the Reconstruction of Ukraine," Dmytro Gerasymenko, Director of industrial equipment and service sales of Konecranes Ukraine, the event's strategic partner, presented the company's latest developments that are reshaping the perception of lifting technologies.
Konecranes — a global leader in material handling solutions — offered a comprehensive vision of innovative, safe, eco-friendly, and highly efficient load handling. The company not only supplies equipment but also sets new industry standards, focusing on smart solutions that boost productivity and reduce operational costs.
📍The central highlight of the presentation was the revolutionary X-series crane, which combines cutting-edge design and modern electrical architecture. It features a new trolley with optimized lifting height, an ergonomic radio controller with a display, light indicators, and a next-generation synthetic rope — lightweight, durable, and safe to use. In addition, the crane supports over-the-air function updates, allowing easy adaptation to new production requirements.
Special attention was given to its intelligent features, including:
✔️Follow Me – a system that allows the operator to physically guide the hook in the desired direction, significantly speeding up the loading process.
✔️Hook Centering – automatic hook centering that eliminates side load, enhances precision, and reduces equipment wear.
💻A key part of Konecranes' philosophy is full-service maintenance throughout the equipment’s entire life cycle. Thanks to the industry’s largest service network, the company offers both regular inspections and customized maintenance programs tailored to the specific conditions and tasks of each enterprise. The TRUCONNECT tool provides remote real-time monitoring of crane conditions and enables informed decisions on maintenance, safety, and investments.
The company is also actively involved in initiatives supporting the reconstruction of Ukraine, particularly through participation in Finnish business partnership projects within the framework of the New Ukrainian School concept.
