🤝Strengthening international cooperation to increase the number of qualified construction workers
The Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) is expanding international partnerships to strengthen the human resource potential of the construction sector. A working meeting was held between Oleksandr Chervak, CEO of the CBU, and Tom Austin, Executive Director of the Education Alliance for Ukraine (EAUA).
The parties discussed current challenges in the construction market and opportunities for collaboration to address the shortage of skilled workers in Ukraine's construction sector.
🎓EAUA programs contribute to the sustainable development of Ukraine by providing construction technology training in partnership with leading tech companies, equipment manufacturers, industry associations, and universities. These initiatives are being implemented jointly with top Ukrainian educational institutions and aim to create inclusive opportunities for women, internally displaced persons, veterans, and returnees from abroad.
Currently, EAUA’s work is supported by Trimble, Hilti, and other international companies.
🏭This year, EAUA plans to equip workshops in around 10 Ukrainian vocational schools with the support of Hilti. The organization is also implementing programs for the procurement of licensed BIM software for selected vocational schools and universities.
Among the completed projects is the provision of 3D printers to the National University “Lviv Polytechnic.”
In addition, EAUA is conducting a selection process for a free training program on one of Stanford University’s top courses (USA), focused on BIM technology skills.
🤝The Confederation of Builders of Ukraine is open to international cooperation that will contribute to the fast, high-quality, and professional reconstruction of Ukraine.
WE WILL WIN AND REBUILD EVERYTHING! 💪
TOGETHER TO VICTORY!
GLORY TO UKRAINE! 💙💛
