📝 The working group on developing the professional standard “Concrete Worker” has agreed on the labour functions and actions to be presented for expert evaluation.

On October 7, 2025, a regular meeting of the working group on the development of the professional standard “Concrete Worker” was held, organized by the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine in partnership with the project “Public-Private Partnership for Improving Vocational Education in Ukraine” EdUP Ukraine with the support of Swisscontact.
The event took place online.

🔔 During the meeting, participants finalized the discussion of the list of labour actions that form the basis of concrete workers’ professional activities and define the content of professional competencies required for high-quality work in modern construction.

🔎 The working group decided to submit the developed materials for independent expert evaluation, involving representatives of academic and educational institutions, vocational education establishments, construction companies, and industry associations.

💬 “We need an objective opinion from industry and education experts to understand whether we are moving in the right direction,” said Svitlana Kravets, Head of the Center for Modern Professions and Training Technologies of the Institute of Vocational Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

👉 Participants will be informed later about the date of the next meeting, which will focus on analyzing the results of the expert survey.
