📃 Transparency of Mutual Settlements and the Level of Estimated Wages in Construction
📆 On January 14, a meeting of the Working Group on Improving the Pricing System in Construction under the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine was held to discuss current challenges in the construction sector.
Participants from the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) included: 👤 Anatoliy Berkuta, Vice President of CBU,
👤 Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of CBU.
Inna Vakhovych introduced the participants to the draft work plan of the Working Group for 2026 and outlined priority areas for future activities.
🏦 During the meeting, participants also discussed a number of problematic issues related to current rules and methods for documenting mutual settlements for completed construction volumes. Specifically, they focused on actual costs for covering procurement and storage expenses, as well as the mechanism for reimbursing interest on bank loans.
📌 Special attention was paid to the issues of determining the level of estimated wages in construction and developing proposals for amendments to the regulatory framework to update it in accordance with current market conditions.
