👥 What is the focus of the Committee on BIM and Digitalization in Construction?

On June 18, 2026, during the Business Day of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU), the CBU Board of Directors decided to establish a new Committee on BIM and Digitalization in Construction.

📍 André Poddubny, a representative of PBF and an expert in BIM, the digital transformation of the construction industry, and European integration, has been elected as the Head of the Committee.

The creation of the Committee is a response to the key challenges facing the Ukrainian construction industry: the need to increase productivity, a shortage of qualified personnel, the demand for transparent interaction among market participants, and preparation for the large-scale reconstruction of the country.

💡 The Committee will become an open platform for CBU members interested in the development of BIM, digital tools, process automation, and the digitalization of design, construction, pricing, procurement, project management, and facility operation.

In 2018–2022, Andre Poddubny represented CBU in the Construction 4.0 Committee of the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC) and facilitated the integration of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine into the European professional community.

🗨️ "Digitalization in construction is not just a matter of technology. It is a matter of productivity, transparency, quality, education, investment, and the competitiveness of the Ukrainian construction market. The Committee's task is to unite industry participants around practical solutions while simultaneously synchronizing the Ukrainian agenda with European approaches", noted André Poddubny.

In the near future, CBU will begin preparations for the first meeting of the Committee.
