⚡ What will the next-generation hospitals in Ukraine be like?

On June 8, 2026, a meeting of the Advisory Group for the pilot project of a standard hospital concept was held, attended by representatives of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, Finnish companies, IHDA, international experts, and relevant industry organizations. The meeting was dedicated to the development of modern medical infrastructure and the design of hospitals in Ukraine, taking into account the security challenges of wartime.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the design of hospital complexes, the integration of protective shelters into medical facilities, modern approaches to functional planning, and the adaptation of European practices to Ukrainian standards and needs.

Also, by the decision of the Advisory Group, new members were included during the meeting:

📌 During the meeting, the participants presented the results of the work already completed and reported on the developed solutions in the field of designing modern hospital complexes. Further cooperation plans and directions for the next stages of work were also discussed.
The participants paid special attention to:

📍 Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue technical consultations, compile a list of additional questions for the relevant Ministries, and proceed to the next stages of project work involving a wider range of companies and experts.

🗓️ The next meeting of the Advisory Group is scheduled for September 2026.
