🧑‍💻 Work is underway on developing the draft professional standard "Concrete Worker"

📆 On February 25, 2026, a regular meeting of the working group for the development of the draft professional standard "Concrete Worker" took place. The event was organized by the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine in partnership with the EdUP project, supported by Swisscontact, and held in an online format.

During the meeting, participants focused on refining the content of Labor Function G: Concreting with 3DCP systems. Specifically, they analyzed labor actions, specified professional competencies, discussed the specifics of describing learning outcomes, and identified the tools and means of labor.
The need to distinguish the professional qualification "3D Concrete Printing Specialist" is driven by the rapid development of 3D concrete printing technologies both in the European Union and Ukraine, necessitating a new qualification for the national construction industry. Obtaining this qualification is envisioned through advanced training for those who already hold the "Concrete Worker" qualification and have relevant work experience.

Additionally, the description of learning outcomes for the labor function related to concrete curing was refined, tasks for independent work were agreed upon, and the next meeting of the working group is scheduled for March 04, 2026.
