🕯️ International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Today, the world honors the memory of millions of innocent people who were killed by the Nazis during the Holocaust. Over six million Jews, including millions of kids, were victims of systematic genocide—mass shootings, ghettos, concentration camps, and death camps.

🥀 The Holocaust is not only a tragedy of the Jewish people. It is a shared wound of humanity and a painful reminder of what hatred, antisemitism, xenophobia, and silent indifference can lead to. Remembering these crimes is our moral duty and a guarantee that such things will never happen again.

💔 Today, this is particularly poignant for Ukraine. Our country is once again at war, accompanied by crimes against the civilian population, torture, and attempts to destroy Ukrainian identity. That is why remembering the Holocaust is not only about the past, but also about our responsibility to act today.

🕯️ By remembering the victims of the Holocaust, we affirm the value of every human life and defend the dignity, freedom, and right of peoples to exist.

May the light of memory become a force that opposes the darkness of hatred and violence.
