📊 Results of the Interagency Working Group on Developing the State Housing Policy Strategy

📅 On December 22, 2025, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine held a meeting of the Technical Working Group within the Interagency Working Group on Developing the State Housing Policy Strategy. The event was held in an online format.

During the meeting, participants discussed the current progress and interim results of preparing the draft State Housing Policy Strategy in accordance with the approved Schedule, as well as further steps for its development.

The Confederation of Builders of Ukraine (CBU) was represented at the meeting by:
👤 Anatolii Berkuta, Vice President of CBU.
👤 Oleksandr Chervak, Executive Director of CBU.
👤 Anna Laievska, Chair of the CBU Development Committee, CEO of SIGMA+.

Serhii Komnatnyi, Coordinator of the Technical Working Group sub-groups and national/international partners, informed the participants about the general results of the Technical Working Group's work and the status of the Schedule implementation:
🔹 6 thematic sub-groups have been formed, having already conducted 18 working meetings between October and December.
🔹 The first key stage has been completed: forming a list of critically required data for the Strategy development.
🔹 Data compiled by the sub-groups has been structured and analyzed jointly with a UNECE expert; official requests have been prepared for national authorities.
🔹 4 coordination meetings were held with sub-group moderators to align the structural logic, goal-setting approaches, and section content.
🔹 Some sub-groups have already moved to direct work on the text of the future Strategy.

🧾 Also, during the meeting, moderators of the six sub-groups presented the development status of the respective sections of the draft Strategy.
Additionally, Andrii Nikonchuk, Data Management Expert, reported on the preparation of data collection and processing based on sub-group requests. The meeting concluded with a summary of results and agreement on further steps for the Technical Working Group.
