🌐🤝The Confederation of Builders of Ukraine has continued its active participation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025.

Throughout the second day, CBU held a number of important meetings — both with trusted partners with whom we have long-standing, fruitful cooperation, and with new potential participants in the recovery process.

🤝We are open to new ideas, partnerships, and joint solutions to ensure the rapid, high-quality, and efficient reconstruction of Ukraine.

Key news from day two of the conference:

✔️U.S. President Donald Trump initiated the creation of an American Investment Fund for Ukraine's recovery. This was announced by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

✔️Ukraine and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) signed an agreement for €100 million to provide compensation for destroyed housing under the “eRecovery” program.

✔️Ukraine and the World Bank agreed to launch the PREPARE Ukraine program. The initiative aims to fund the preparation of public and municipal reconstruction projects.

✔️Italian investors will allocate €12 million for the construction of a plant in the Bila Tserkva industrial park.

The day’s discussions focused on key areas of Ukraine’s recovery:

🔹Local Development: infrastructure, decentralization, sustainable cities, international partnership

🔹Business: processing industry, critical raw materials, strategic sectors, SMEs, healthcare

🔹Human Capital: education, labor market, science and innovation, inclusivity, gender equality

🔹Reforms for EU Integration: energy transition, integration of the financial sector, environmental restoration

🔹Special Areas: industrial parks, economic potential of veteran engagement, private capital, diaspora engagement, digital solutions, strategic governance

A reminder: on July 9, on the eve of URC2025, a special event “GREEN RECONSTRUCTION OF UKRAINE” was held, organized by FIEC, Ance, the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, and EIC – European International Contractors, in cooperation with Neo-Eco Ukraine.
